ABOUT US

Our History

Based in Seattle Washington, we’ve sold products into the once rich Northwest Home-center Industry since 1988, starting with Ernst Hardware, Fred Meyer, Pay n Pak, which became Eagle Hardware & Garden and was eventually purchased by Lowes to jumpstart their move west. We’ve been working with Costco since 1998, both in their warehouse stores and online, while also calling on several corporate accounts throughout the west coast and Hawaii. We began with Amazon in 2002, which quickly became our largest account and center of focus for many vendors and PL products. We also sell to Walmart.com, Overstock.com, & Wayfair.com, among others.

Today there are three of us managing several million dollar vendors on Costco, Amazon, and a few other large retailers. One of our team members spends 100% of his time on the Amazon accounts, and is frequently downtown in the corporate offices. In addition to our Seattle office, we partner with two overseas groups who assist in internet research for product optimization, competitive surveys, content uploading & Amazon detail page enhancement, blog writing, and graphics.

For Amazon, we work on both sides of the fence. The direct retail side called Vendor Central with its categorical ‘buyers’, and the Marketplace side called Seller Central. Amazon’s total sales are evenly split between the two, and often compete with each other, which is by design. We help guide vendors to which side you should be selling on. There are pros and cons to both and we encourage prospective vendors to contact us to have discussions about this.

Understanding how that works, how to navigate through it, how to work inside of the back-end portals of Amazon, and how to drive sales is the key, and it’s become what we do best. While organic sales on Amazon are still important, it’s the key word metrics and controlled ad spend strategies that create the famed ‘Amazon Halo Effect’. Those are the most specialized aspects to a successful launch or exponential growth on Amazon, and has become our expertise.
